So lets say you havent texted broad/chick/HB whatever you wanna call her for a couple days. Or you had an awesome text conversation with her the night before. What ever the case maybe you havent started the interaction with her on this particulare day/night /morning whatever.

she will send you some random one word text calling you by a nickname or something to just get a reaction out of you, trying to start a convo or shes just letting you know shes still alive and thinking of you.

i'll give an example: i know this one girl who loves the way i smell, she says its very masculine,ok sure , so shes givin me the nickname Smelly, cute isnt it? hehe. well when ever i stop talking to her for a couple days or even after we hang out, the next day ill randomly get a text that says

HB: smelly!

I personally never respond to these texts. But i do find them interesting, I think you can pick up a lot of information on were you stand with a chick just from these dumb little texts they send you.

This is good! Also real good that you ain't answering! She already has a cute little nickname for you, this should mean alot.

I'd say this is good, she just wants to talk to you but doesn't want to say "I want to talk to you"

Yes, she does want to talk to you, but by giving you a nickname like "Smelly" or whatever it may be, she is assuming dominance in the relationship. YOU are the man. YOU give the nicknames. You have to let her know that you aren't just her little pet that she can play with.

So if I were you I'd respond with something along the lines of "Yo Stinky!" to let her know how ridiculous she sounds or "Yeah I know. I smell good. I'm too manly for you. You wouldn't be able to handle me."

I wouldn't respond to smelly. It's OK for her to give you a nickname but that nickname fucking sucks. Wait a few hours then text her without acknowledging the nickname. Just be like "Hey loserface, lets go catch a movie."
