ok tonight met a friend i know and her friends and i kept catchin her glancin at me and laughin at my petty jokes but how should i take the next step like i was thinkin tellin her friend that that girl was cute u were with last night good or bad idea

No, don't use her friend as a medium. This puts an unstable variable in the scene and you might get unwanted results. If she has given you 3 IOIs
then be confident and show some conviction and tell her yourself. This will DHV to her by showing her you are not scared to communicate how you feel...

don't tell the friend JACK shit. she'll tell the girl, and then you're bummed. Play it kl, if you know you're gonna be somewhere with her again then next time you catch her giving you eye contact give a massive wink. it has to be ott so it's funny, not cheesy. She'll probs give you a wink back - mirroring - or laugh.

if you don't know that you'll see her again, create an event and ask your friend to come and tell her to invite some mates. with any luck she'll bring that girl again, but don't ask for her directly.
