Ok, so ive stupidly over negged a mate, we end up throwing stuff back and forth at each other, which was fun for a few months, but we are sort of building up hostility and frustration. Talking than not talking.

I don't know if its because shes sort of seemed interested and I didnt make a break for it, she means more to me than most and I don't want to fuck things up, being friends is fine by me.

Any suggestions on what to do? She says Im always focusing on myself, which is fairly true, I was thinking of spending more time asking her questions and actively listening.

Note: I don't want to score with this girl, just get back to having a good mate.

Please only give me advice if you think it will be useful.

Invite her somewhere just you her and a few mates spend quality time and treat her like your other friends and this will gradually build back the friendship.

Stop negging her. Apologize for being a dick. She will feel relieved you are calling for truce. Snapback to the friendship you had before. Keep in mind dude, she is following you.

I get the impression one of you crossed the line into something hurtful, and the other, not wanting to be outdone, threw something hurtful back. Take control like the man you are, quit acting like a child. Shes just a girl!

i used to do this with girl and guy friends, the reason was it was kind of fun, and you didnt really have to think of shit to say,

its easier to just be your best self around your friends, you can still be C&F but dont go overboard
