I don't know if these are common responses or not, but here's a few I've been using. So far, so good.


Hoop: "I'm going to the bathroom, will you hold my bag"
Response: "Yup ok (take bag). While you're there can you get me some toilet roll. 5 sheets should be ok, don't get it wet when you wash your hands."
(Thereby accepting the hoop and replying with another)

Hoop: "I'm going to the bathroom, will you hold my bag"
Response: "Why, is there not enough room in the cubicle for both of you?"
(If you weren't there she'd have happily taken it, it's not like you're causing any unnecessary hardship. Say it playfully though, not like an arse).

Hoop: "I'm going to the bathroom, will you hold my bag"
Response: Silence. (take bag, and when she's gone give it to one of her friends). "(friend's name)'s got it, go get it from her (smile)" .
(She thought you took the hoop, maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Either way she'll have no choice but to do as you instruct if she wants her bag back. Winner.)

Hoop: "I'm going to the bathroom, will you hold my bag"
Response: "Yeah, but only if I can look through it"
(Careful with this one, if you get it wrong and look through it you could likely blow it all. But if she seems up for it, you could use it to reinforce trust, or could lead to other fun things depending what's in there. I'd suggest using with caution....)


And for those of you who smoke roll ups...

Hoop: "Will you roll me a cigarette?"
Reply: "Nope (sliding tobacco to her and standing up). I'm off to the toilet, roll me one up too"
(She gives you a hoop of rolling up 1, you reply with a bigger one of rolling up 2 without seeming like an arse or by being stingy).

Hoop: "Will you roll me a cigarette?"
Reply: "OK, I'll roll 'em up while you go to the bar. I'll have a...."
(Again, you respond with a bigger hoop, and also she'll end up investing money in you, another good thing."


Any thoughts or other suggestions? Sometimes they keep trying the same damn thing all night and responses run low...
