OK so you are there trying to PU some girl and in mid conversation she whips it out!!! and you're all like =O OMG! and by it i mean her phone of course =P.

NOw this is really anoyying because when she starts randomly testing on her phone you are left feeling totally confused and insecure.

Is she trying to give you a signal that she wants to disengage the conversation with you?

Or does she feel she is of higher value and that she can afford to give you 50% of her attention while the rest is spent texting her friends.



I dont know... but the whole situation is really off putting and when it happens i want a routine to fix it immediately.


She takes out her phone and starts texting in mid conversation( conveys disinterest in you and could possibly be an attempt to disengage from you...)

What do you do? Is there a good neg to come back from this

If she was genuine about it and said something along the lines of "Oh hey listen, sorry give me 2 secs i just need to txt my friend back" then by all means let her and in the mean while pull out yours and do the same or talk to her friends, obstacles etc.

IF, on the other hand, she pulls it out mid-sentence without so much as a 'hold on' then i would tool her about it if you want to try and stay in the set: "OMG OMG is that a CELL phone? Wow you are sooooooooo cool like, ive seen them but me nor my friends dont have one were not baller enough"; but if you dont want to stay in the set just say nice to meet you and leave cause if she was truly interested she wouldnt pull out her cell in front of you.

yeah this one is kinda tuff...
if she whips out her phone in mid sentence and stuff, then maybe you didnt have a solid opening game (a1,a2,a3).
try being more interesting because it sounds like she got bored or something. For example, use a Neg and a DHV story early on in your game so that you dont bore her. and dont forget about your energy levels when you talk to her. have some enthusiasm when you talk, dont be a zombie
or if she was polite and pulled out her phone but said something like hold on or something, then use that to your advantage like:

G.L- theres something wrong with your phone!
HB- what?!?
G.L- (take phone) calls my phone with her phone
HB- giggles, happy, etc.

might not work because it sounds like an rAFC thing to do, but it seems to work with HB 6 or lower. field tested on HB 7+ and it doesnt work...yeah...
