on my earlier post i mentioned how i took a girl out last week but i didnt feel she seemed to intrested anyhow we were texting for abit and i asked her to go out again but no reply ... so i thought she cant be fussed and just forgot about it .


now shes text me exactly a week later saying really sorry for the horribly late reply , phones been broke all week . are you ok , did you get up2 much .


whats going on here lol , id have thought if she wasnt bothered she would have just not text back but on the other side why not text for a week .


any advice

I actually suggest you treat her the same way. Return the favor and wait before replying too at least 2 days. Then pick up the convo and tell her about how you been so busy with all the awesome stuff you did and all the great people you met.

In my humble AFC opinion I think you are just reading a bit too much into it.

My guess is the broken phone stuff is BS, but its perfectly possible she was just waiting a few days to text you back not seem to keen. Then forgot for a couple of days. I kinda done that sort of stuff before and then bottle it, thinking fuck it waited too long.

I'd definitely say you are in a strong position. I think chill, play it normal and actually it seems she is chasing you. There is no need to worry why she waited 1 week to text you back it seems irrelevant.

Personally I would address the fact she didn't text back but in a jokey way... "o shit yea I know what you mean my phone breaks for a week at a time as well. (then straight to the point... "lets go for drinks/ come over, got some friends here/ having this party whatever).

If you think she will take it badly just chuck a smiley in there. You can get away with anything if you put a smiley at the end. My phone breaks all the time too

if you don't want to include the invite you don't have to, but don't make a thing of having conversations through texting, at least not with girls you're trying to game. Texting is used to maintain interest and comfort (not too much) and to make plans.

i was thinking about texting her tomorrow night .... something along the lines of

" haha thought you had died, ive got xxxxxxx on tonight but i will give you a ring once i'm back tonight if you have 5 minutes "


then ring her once i'm back , if she doesnt answer i know the crack .

Noooo sir that's DLVing yourself, don't do it. That's basically saying that she said that because you're not worth texting back and you're okay with it cuz you do it sometimes too with people you don't wanna see/hear.

Looks good to me! You could even say that then not call her. She'll be thinking about you.

I suggest you text her until you built enough comfort so that you're near to absolutely sure that she will answer your call. Right now it seems like you guys are missing attraction as well as comfort.

i think she would answer my call but you probs know more about it than me mate, only problem is that throws my plan out the window.

It is interesting to see how different people can interpret the same piece of text.

I was not suggesting that he should say he ignores people too, but instead to make fun of the idea that the phone had broken for just one week which is quite clearly BS. Kind of like saying "i'm not falling for that rubbish" and definitely not agreeing with her and DLVing. Obviously the fact you have seen it like that suggests it is not the best thing to say. I personally would like to address it, otherwise for me its kinda like she blew me off a bit, and I want her to know i'm in control.

Does that make sense? Definitely interesting that what you read is different from what I meant to get across.
