Give her a nickname. Make sure it's related to her, like her lifestyle, an experience between the two of you in the past, or anything close to her own name but in a funny way.

Nicknames are good, but don't over do it. Usually a few funny and apporpriate nicks will win you some charm, but calling her "short stop" all night will make her want to leave.

I find most guys over do this in general, so don't be that guy. Best approach is just be calm and cool like you are hanging out with an actual "friend". talk about stuff you actually like, don't try to impress by strategizing your convo. Just keep most topics brief and move on unless you pick a winner and she get's really excited by it. Even then, don't linger too long or she will think that's all there is.
