I have not really thought about girls (been in denial) for about 3 years. And as such have not been on a date since then.
I got a girls number about two weeks ago. Then we organised a date, she flaked, but I dont know the story and she apologies profusely afterwards.
We have organised another date for when she finishes work on a Sunday afternoon, but I have no idea what to do on a Sunday in the middle of winter in my city. Also I am pretty much broke for various reasons.
This girl has been lots of fun via text and I will be calling her tomorrow (Saturday) evening to confirm everything and see if she has planned the date (I played a game earlier where she had to plan where we were going but I don't think she will have).
So my problem is, where can I take her on a Sunday night? I don't think she is a party girl (although I want to bounce her around if I can).
My plan WAS a place where we have to cook our own meals, then I had no idea where to after that.
Thanks in advance

It's a good idea because you don't have to talk that much, you have a topic to talk about (the film), you get relaxed watching the film and there is no problem if it is raining.

We ended up going to an arcade playing a few games. Then bowling. Then food. Then we finished with ice cream at her favourite store. She even remarked 'I never bring my dates here'.
Then she wanted to get supplies from a supermarket so I ejected, sadly I tried a few times to k close (unsuccessful) and one I bailed it was over. I think had I stuck around she might have but she can shop for groceries with her girls not with me.
Also she paid for everything except the bowling. Was my first date in a long time and I think it was a pure success!! Will work up to k and f closing but round one win.

If I were you, I'd ask her out for another date during the day, but for a date that's going to happen at night. The last one was heavy on fun, low on romance. For the second date, I'd try to switch that around. Because you've already built some comfort with her, now you need to show her you can turn up the tension.
Maybe try to come up with a logistical excuse to have her park her car at your place. (Personally, I like to complain about how it's a pain to park where we're going, so let's just take one car.) If she's just dropping off her car at your place that's pretty low-risk for her. Of course, when she arrives, it's easy for you to say, "I'm not quite ready yet. Come in for a sec." This way she gets to see your place and it's not as scary later that night when you guys go back there.
