Proper phone game.

Here's the deal... I meet girls, things go great, I'll call them, leave a funny message, and usually get some kind of response, usually a text...

Ex.
I met this chick saturday at a halloween party, and told her I never call before 3 - 4 days. Blah Blah.. She loved every word I said...

OK... so 2 days goes past and i call her and leave a message

In a joking tone, and trust me I recorded the message like 3 times to perfection... "HB! This 3 day thing is KILLLLING me, so I had to break down and now I'm leaving one of those messages that really have no purpose other than to tell you to call back, so hit me up, I'll catch you later."

No response. then the next day she writes a text saying she didn't forget me but she's been busy w/ hw ect. and she might call me that night. Never does... I didn't say anything back... Should I have sent a text back? Should I wait for her to call? Should I text her today? I was thinking... "oh, so i guess you're one of those day 4 girls, ttyl "

I feel saying anything w/o her calling me first is a dlv and comes off needy, but not saying anything is bound to let this one die too. Any helps appreciated.

Well, I don't know if its worked for you in the past or whatever, but I don't think that message you left on her voicemail was the best move for you.

Firstly, the message you left her was a little bit AFC - if I was going to call her that early, which I probably wouldnt to be fair, I'd say something like ''Omg its been [x] days since you've seen me, I hope you're holding up alright. Just wanted to say that I'm going away on business/roadtrip/party/some other DHV in a couple of days so don't be too offended if you can't get hold of me for a while. Catch you later.'' That way you have a reason to call her, other than simply sucking up to her you know? You control the frame as it were.

Secondly, having told her you never call in the first 3 or 4 days, you probably should have waited til like day 5 to call her. By doing it in a period you personally told her you never call a girl, you're sending out signals that she's something special, not that you're the prize.

This was my first attempt with that message, I'm tryin new things, wanna devlop my own routines... I know the context is afc but the message was funny, and with a bit of sarcasm. I like your routine ... I'll try that the next time I don't have anything else in mind.

Any suggestions on my next move? I think I'm gunna try the "day 4 girl" thing, just to see if it works. And if not, I can start of a thread of shit NOT to do. haha

As for the next step, I'd suggest that you do nothing, you wait for her to call. When I say ''wait for her to call'' I dont mean sitting by the phone all night waiting for it to ring; go out and meet some more people, open some more sets, try some new material and just dont think about her at all Look at it this way; it doesnt matter to you if she doesnt call, you're going out to have fun and meet more HBs. If she does call, thats just a bonus!

She called like 3 hours later.

I didn't answer, called her like 30 minutes later...we talked for a little, I had high energy, blah blah, dhv'd talking about a job interview blah blah blah blah... negged her, was funny... maybe the best phone convo ever... then I told her I'mma be really busy putting a portfolio together so that if she doesn't hear from me for a few days not to be offended (thanks 8ball)
