I was out at a Jazz club last night, met this girl, spent the whole night chatting, dancing and then making out. I was heading on to other places with mates afterwards (it was an end of year university night out, so wanted to stick around with mates rather than going back with the girl), so got her number and left.

If she hasn't got your number, how do you go about starting the text exchange. Would you start it by letting her know who you are, something like "hi it's Bobby. Good night Wednesday?" Or would you go for a bit more of a "line", bearing in mind she won't know who the text is from?

The first text should be identifing yourself, maybe mention where she knows you from.

(Hey _____, it's ______ from ______)

Then you could converse from there.
