So there is a restaurant I've been going to for a while. I've always had a little thing going with a girl that works there. We always check each other out and she seemed to frequently find an excuse to be near me and talk with me. So one day I decide to flirt with her a little and get her email and she happily gave it to me. Thinking this was a done deal, I emailed her and got no response! Now normally I would just write it off and be like whatever plenty of chicks out there. BUT NO! Not this one. This one pisses me off because I know she is into me. Why no response? She may have another guy but she made it a point to not let me know about him. She started to mention a guy but then caught herself and changed her sentence. It was kind of funny actually. I would like to hear everyones thoughts on this.

Keep in mind, a girl may not respond if you haven't build enough rapport with her. How much time did you spend building attraction and making her feel at ease around you? According to your post, you flirted a little and asked for her email address. That may work for some women, but not others. This may not have been enough time for her to feel comfortable answering your email.

Have you been back to the restaurant since the email? It is possible that she was playing games and wanted nothing more than an ego boost from you, or....maybe she didn't receive the email. Maybe the email was delivered to her SPAM or JUNK folder and she never saw it.

I would go back to the restaurant (if you haven't already) and see how she acts towards you. If she acts distant and/or cold, dismiss her and move on. If she acts friendly towards you, make fun of her for not remembering her own email address or not knowing how to check her SPAM or JUNK folder.

Yeah thanks for putting it into perspective. I believe it may very well be the whole rapport thing. She certainly doesn't really know me and we haven't spent a whole lot of time talking so I'll do just that and go back into the restaurant later this week.
