Inexperienced first time poster, need some advice.

Here is the setup. I was out to eat last night with a group of friends and was talking about this HB that works there taking orders and delivering the food (it is a food trailer). I have been crushing on this chick for about 6 months. So a female friend of mine asks do I want her to find out if the girl is single. I said, sure, so she went over and talked to the girl for a bit and came back and told me the girl is single and that I should go say "hi." The timing seemed weird with an audience of 6 of my friends there, so I tried to catch her away from the table but there was never a good opportunity.

On the way home I got more info about their conversation. My friend told the HB, "my friend over there thinks you are really cute" and pointed me out. HB claims to recognize me as a regular and told my friend "he should come talk to me."

So, good sign, and seems pretty teed up to try to get her # and setup a date. I have just literally never asked anyone out, it has always happened organically or through a dating site. I am thinking about going there and ordering some stuff to go (to set the time limit), and playfully referencing the other night, that my friend outed me, and ask for her #.

Any other tips here? Much appreciated.
