This is my ex, one-itis actually but I ended any contact we had couple of months ago (except like 15 min chat on a street in December we last really spoke about a year ago, spontanous texts since then until I totally cut it off).
I sent her text today saying
"Next weekend, not this one but the one after, I'm going to 'hunt' for some clothes around the city. Consider Yourself lucky since I always appreciate woman company while I'm shopping." She texts me back about 3hrs later saying
"Why are you texting me all out of a blue with a message that seems to be out of context?"
Kinda weird response, don't You think?
First thing that popped to my head was to write:
"'Cause we haven't talked for a while. That's why. Would be nice to catch up." Second thing was
"Oops, must've mixed my girls' numbers
" (playful) and a third one was
"You shouldn't question such an invitation
" (playful as well). Or perhaps mix them all three saying something like
"Oops, I must've send it to the wrong girl. But on the other hand we haven't talked for a while and last time I went shopping I had problems finding the right shoes [background story: the one time I met her in a town I was out to go look for some shoes and later I texted her shortly saying that I can't find any nice ones and next time she's coming with me, she replied me playfully twice in like 20 mins but I never texted her back]
You shouldn't question such an invitation
".
At the moment I'm reading some Ultimate Texting Guide and just read the part where whenever I don't like what girl just texted and it seems like she wants to show some attitude I should just stop texting and try again next day or next week.
What are your thoughts guys? I didn't text her anything back yet but to reply tomorrow with something seems appropriate.
Regards,
