Alright so here's my situation. I just finished reading The Game and starting into this whole world. The other week I'm with a friend and I approach a three set. Open with an opinion question on whether or not my friend should buy his GF a wedding ring and propose or use that money to take her on a trip but still asking her to marry him. Same question but trip or ring. We banter and I say it's my friend I'm with. This was the lie. They want to talk to us both. We go over and talk. Things go well and at one point her friend asks me if I have a girlfriend. When they leave she tells me to expect a friend request from her friend. I say if she's so bold (we talked about this earlier) her friend can call me and gave her my number to give the target.

So a week later. She adds me to facebook. I check her photos and send her a message about meeting up and swapping Europe travel stories. She says "That would be good, when are you free?". We choose a day and I write back "sounds good, choose a spot and we'll meet. She replies with "Booo how did I get stuck with picking the spot? haha. If you just want to grab a drink we could go to the Shoe Shop... otherwise I am open to suggestions!"

So what do I do here? First off I was thinking of writing back and saying I'll pick her up on my motorcycle and we'll go somewhere, then to the shoeshop. This way I come off as strong now and not a chump for not knowing where to go, I have a plan now it appears. Where do I slip in the lie? Do I pay for drinks? I've read a few PUG say they never buy a drink for a girl they haven't slept with or is dating.

First off the shoeshopping is LHV for you. She is punishing you for making her pick the spot unless this shoe shop is just the name of the place your getting the drinks which I'm guessing it is. I liked the opener you used and it seemed to work well for you excellent work. I personaly don't give the girls i've targeted my facebook or my myspace those are for my friends only and I've had enough trouble with girls getting irrate for me on that but that's just me. I've got a motorcycle also but I use this as a DHV and make them earn a ride. She's already said she's open for more suggestions so she is giving the go ahead to be the decision maker. Just re-establish the Alpha male role and choose another location to hang out. As for the drink the only time I pay for anything now days (used to buy them for girls at bars) is when I'm on an official date with the girl then it's just gentlemanly. And for god sake don't take her to get shoes if that's what shoe shop is!

Yes it's a five in one restaurant. Great spot with lots of SPAM. It's a wicked spot. No dance floor just a great spot to meet for drinks. That's classy but still casual at the same time.

A bit off topic but it's not the "Economy Shoe Shop" in Halifax by any chance?
