i just met this girl at a pretty classy, small party...i was kinda flirting with her throughout the night then i played some music for the party and she seemed to be really into me....i got her number before i left and told her i was going on vacation for two weeks, leaving the next day. i jokingly made her a paper crane and told her that she couldn't forget me now, which was pretty corny but i think she bought it...so now i'm on vacation across the country and i'm not sure if i should just wait it out, or make some kind of phone call or text or something......the girl's a wine major if that sparks any ideas...i was thinking maybe just texting and asking how the crane's doing. dunno tho. thanks in advance for the advice!

you will want to be funny and flirt with her over the bridge. if she has time to forget you and her attraction to you, it'll be harder to be more forward. so dont wait it out, least i dont think so. start with a simple hi or hey, to show you want to talk to her. go into talking about the crane and start making her imagine situations with you, like getting lost or being there with you at your vacation spot.

ok, so i called the girl, no answer, left a pleasant sounding message just saying hi. around 11 at night she texts me back saying that she just got my message and to give her a call......hopes i'm having a good trip and such. i called her again, no answer, left another message.....she called me about 10 minutes later. i was at a horse racetrack and she gave me her lucky #s and whatnot.....we lost, i joked around a bit about her losing my money and such. conversation went on for about ten minutes, got into talking about the energy people give off and how you can feel certain connections with people...etc. we ended on kind of a down note and i had to get off the phone cuz we were all cashing out. not the greatest first phone convo, but i think i came off well enough....prolly call the girl in a coupla days.
