This is my first post on the forum, so I'll introduce myself a bit... I'm from Holland and I've been reading about pick-up for about 6 months, started with the MM, the Game, Gambler's stealth seduction and later the gunwitch method. Also some NLP-stuff and bodylanguage books. I just figured it would be the best (for me at least) to take a system that works, learn it and adapt it to my own style over time.
A few weeks ago, when my school schedule allowed it, I decided i was going to have to give it a go, so I went out with a friend (who also read some pick-up/seduction books but never got around to try it out) and used some of the routines. I live in Holland, so I'm pretty sure there's not so many guys who have tried using these things on the girls here. I noticed I actually liked doing it, just talking to new people and trying to get a conversation going, throw in some of the routines and gambit's I've read over and over to be field tested and being surprised they actually worked. (5-lies, best friends test, etc.) Offcourse some nights were better than others, but overall I did enjoy myself.
I really like that I feel so much more comfortable around people, being able to make people laugh in a cocky-funny way. I also noticed I stopped caring so much about what others might think of me, in a way it was a bit of an eye-opener for me.
I did get some results, only #-closes though, but, hell, I didn't talk to 'strangers' before I started, so I was quite pleased with myself. Unfortunately most #'s flaked on me, I'm not really good at phone-game, yet I am willing to crash and burn for the learning process.
Ok... now for what I was about to post.
Some time ago, my phone broke down, so I lost most of my contacts, including the one's I'd gotten while sarging. Last night I had a birthday party for myself at my place and I got a text from an unknown number, I'll just write the entire convo here:
??: O yeah, I'll be there tonight!
Me: Great! Who are you actually, I've lost all my contacts a while ago
??: Just wait and find out...
Me: I'm dead curious..!
??: A shame that you don't have my number anymore
, But I am looking forward to the party
. X
Me: Me too, but now I've got it again, just curious who's name I can add to it. See you in a bit!
??: If I tell you how much fun it was in *club*, now do you remember?
Me: Not really, give me another hint
??: I was giving you some signals, but you didn't really seem to be into me back then.... How's the party?
Me (bluffing, but what the hell...): I have an idea who this is.. The party's great, I'll be waiting here, *my adress*, you know where to find me

?? (on to me..): I don't think you know who this is, or do you? And here I was thinking you weren't that kind of a player...
?? (after a friend of mine viewed her number and called her...): Uhhmmm, are you making your friends call me now? :S
Me: A guy viewed your number and called, you don't have to pick up... But I'll have to admit I really don't know who you are. Allright, I'll play your game ... did we meet at the *club* or did I know you from before?
??: Sorry, I just totally misjudged you.
?? (an hour later): What... are you ignoring me now? I should've listened to my friends, I may be naïve, but I thought you were different.
Me (kind of irritated, not wanting to give in or wanting to suck up to her/keeping a strong frame): Listen up... Believe me when I say I don't know who you are if you don't tell me. So you either just tell, or you don't, but then this thing is over.
??: I don't get why you're acting this way... I think I have more reasons to be angry than you do. But I had fun last time and I'd like to see you again sometimes. I'll be with my friends in *different club*, maybe see you there in a bit?
Me: I'm not angry, I just don't get why this discussion is the way it is. If you'd just tell me your name everything will be a lot clearer. I'm not going to make it to *club*, I'm playing guitar with some friends over here
??: Pff... I should've listened to my friends. Have fun with your friends then. X, K.
There... that's the entire thing translated (original language was Dutch, so maybe some of the details got 'lost in translation') The entire thing was over the course of 4 or 5 hours. I really don't remember (and I barely had any alcohol while sarging, so that's not it) who it could possibly be who a. knows I'm having the party and b. whose name starts with a K. And what's up with calling me a player and misjudging me... I don't really recognise myself in those descriptions!
Ok.. so I'm quite confused about the entire thing and just really curious what just happened there...
My question to you guys is if you could give me some feedback on what I did good or absolutely wrong and if it is still possible to find out who this was?
Also, I think there's still the possibility of it being one of my friends sending some prank texts!
Any ideas on how to take it from here?
