So I met this HB9 yesterday in SA town. It was maybe a 20 minute encounter, and I got her number. I would call but today I'm no longer in town, I'm back home 3 hours away because I'm taking courses over the summer. I don't really have any immediate plans to be back in SA until the end of the month, and due to school I don't have very flexible schedule. She of course does not know I live 3 hours away, because i neglected to mention it. So usually I would just chuck the number and move on. She however has this unique personality that genuinely tugged at my heart strings. I'm not saying I want to try and start a long distance relationship, but it would be a shame to not try and establish some kind of relationship so I could see her when I do occasionally drop on into town. What I'm asking is some advice on how to make this happen, and even how to casual let her know I'm 3 hours away, with out letting her feel as if I'm not interested. Or should I even pursue this at all?

Three hours is a lot for someone you only knew for 20 minutes. If you're going to be there for other reasons, that seems okay, but you should let her know now that you don't live in town, but you're interested in hanging out with her whenever you come to visit. This requires planning and that is what makes it a complete bitch. I find if I make spur of the moment plans and get flaked on, it doesn't faze me. If I plan shit out weeks in advance and get flaked on, that shit stings. You're setting yourself up against the odds. Did you make enough of an impression in 20 minutes that she's going to commit to meet you again in a month? You should focus on the local scene.
