I felt it was a real solid #-Close and felt there was potential for a Day 2. So I texted her today (Sunday) and we exchanged a few texts back and forth but she didnt respond after my last one. I started off with some C+F which she responded well to. But after my first text she asked "how the rest of my weekend was?" and the rest of the convo quickly turned into AFC mode. I already know I fucked up by going into AFC mode so you dont have to convince me. Now I know some of you will say I should've CALLED HER. But I honestly suck at phone game. I know that I'll never get good unless I practice, but Id rather try and build some comfort first via text before getting on the phone.

Ugh, anyone have better advice for text game? Or someone want to ram down my throat that I should've called?

If you need to practice, then practice. Practice on any old girl, don't wait till you've got a 7.5 on your hands.

Call old female friends, get numbers of girls that are below your standards, anything. I know it seems tough to make the effort, but you just gotta do it, and when you finally do make the effort, you realise it's not that big a deal to practice. (remember, 20,000 days)

You don't even have to go too hard core - call a couple of females you know, 1 or 2, and just see how it goes, and analyse how it went afterwards. Just try and look for opportunities to practice.



When you text, you're sending the message that you are too shy, and also you have no chance to win her over with your tone of voice and finding things in the conversation to make fun of, neg her a little, etc. like everything in life there's no guarantee you will do awesome (but you might if you try) but there is ZERO chance if you text. So it's an easy choice. Just call. I always call when propositioning a girl to go out to something with me, because I know that the tone of voice I have is what will convince her, not the text or the outing itself.

txting back and forth is only okay if she's a "texter" herself, who likes having full blown conversations in text - and this is only persmissable if she starts the text convo. When you want to initiate contact, you phone.

Thanks man, your absolutely right...

Thankfully, she texted me later last night though asking me "Hey where do u live btw?". So obviously shes still interested. I ended up having a good text convo which was playful, within the span of 2 hours. I mirrored her response time. Sometimes they were back n forth. The longest response was 15 minutes. I felt it went good. However, Im not going to text her again unless she texts me first. I plan on calling her tomorrow to try and setup some sort of Day 2...

Regarding the stuff early in your post...

I should've phrased it better when I said Im terrible with girls on the phone. Im just terrible with girls who I've number closed while sarging. Im actually really good with girls who are my friends. I have no problems talking to them at all. I'll be honest Im just afraid I'll screw it up over the phone with the girls I #-Close. Its a stupid fear I know, but its there.
