So basically there's this girl who I was becoming fairly close with, (yes I didn't take things as fast as I should have; we went on a date to the city and a few movies but I never closed.) Anyhow, essentially, she is going to her Prom with an absolute stranger because he is "gangster" looking, (I am in highschool), and turned me down for him, but still wanted to hang out with me that weekend.

I decided I'm not gonna put up with that, and was sort of angered that she would ask such a thing, so have basically been blowing her off for the past month whenever she's tried to talk to me.

So now, although I realized I really hate her attention-needing personality, I sort of want to get back with her and attempt a fast close. I know she still likes me because she sometimes tries to talk to me, and on my facebook newsfeed I see posts to her friend every now and then saying things like: "WTF I can't stand the ignoring! Yell at me scream at me but don't just ignore me" or "u dont no how much he means to me Arg!"

Any advice on how to approach this situation, or should I not even bother?

Ok man, I think you did good. Telling her F- off since she treated you bad. Im no pickup artist but if you do start talking to her again and she treats you bad once more, just cut off ties. If you could ignore her for a month, you can completely break off ties.
