i was at the bar last night and i got approached by a girl and we hit it off pretty well. she ended up having to leave with her roommate, so i got her number before she left, i thought she had put her name in my phone as well. i looked this morning and its only the number... how can i go about getting her name?

Drop her a txt, just general convo, pretend you dropped your phone, somethings wrong with it etc things wont end up bad. "Be like hey everyone can you text me who you are, my phones acting up, it's kept all the numbers but deleted everyones names, thanks"

This can happen, because has legitimately happened when i dropped my phone.

I know this reply is kinda late, but you can do this:
You: "Who is this?"
Her: (Name)
You: " I know, I'm just being an ass "

If you have facebook/myspace etc. say you want her full name so you can add her. If she just gives you surname, ask her how to spell her first name.

It doesn't matter if you forgot her name.

Guys,it's a DHV to forget the target's name.

If you do remember her name,act as though you forgot(in set or later).

Why is it a DHV to forget her name?

It shows that you aren't that interested;its a subtle false disqualifier.

Honestly speaking,you shouldn't care to remember anything the target says in set while gaming her.

It shouldn't matter what she says. You're the one gaming her and attracting her so you should be the primary speaker.

Whatever she says in set WON'T assist the attraction. The more you let the target talk in set-run the set,the more she sets her frame.

Forgetting her name says that you're pre-selected by other(many)women-a major DHV.

Why would you remember her name if you have many options?

By letting her know you remember her name its like saying,"I have no other women in my lonely life so Im gonna cling to you by name,#,etc.".

That's why I love to neg girls in set by giving them a funny name. I don't give a shit what her real name is. Im gonna make a name for her based on her looks or whatever.

I never ask girls their name in set. I give them names."Hey,Im gonna call you Trouble.

Then she'd get all curious asking why you named her Trouble.

If she's interested,she'd remember your name or ask.

Likewise,if you(the PUA)forgets her name(or pretend to),she'd think that you're not that into her.

Thus,she'd fight to prove herself(qualify)worthy of your attention & attraction.

So,forget her name;it isn't important to the objective-lying her.
