i'm a freshman in college, i hooked up with a girl at a party tonight. i maybe had a chance for sex but she said she was getting tired, and I didn't want to force it and didn't really even feel in the mood for it. i didn't go past kissing and touching and grinding, though i probably could have.

this is the type of girl i'd like to have a relationship with, not a one night sexcapade with, although maybe the two are not mutually exclusive? maybe i should have escalated to clothes off but i didn't. was this a good or bad idea, given that i'd like a relationship with her?

so i got her number and like her a lot, and i'm pretty sure she really likes me too. i don't want this to be a one-night thing. she could have wanted this to be a one-night thing, but i'm hoping and am somewhat reasonably optimistic she would be interested in seeing me again.

furthermore, i went out of my way to try to be super confident and cocky. she then made several comments that i was very vain. is this a good or bad thing? should i tone my cockiness down in the future or continue to keep being cocky?

anyways, i want to get to know her better and would definitely consider making her my gf. or if not then a friend with benefits would be fine too. my plan now is to wait two days and text her, but i don't know what i'd text her and i don't know when the best time to do so is.

i don't know if i should even make any facebook contact with her or facebook friend her or anything like that. So what's your advice on my next step?

You don't like her a lot. You don't even know her. One night with a girl shouldn't tell you enough about her to make her your girlfriend. Go Find Ten Other Women.

Keep her around though. Make plans for yourself and invite her to come along. Call her. Don't text.

Also, does she have YOUR number? She might not pick up if she doesn't. You should take this into account when getting numbers.

examples? would telling her to come with me to dinner be good? what about telling her to go shopping with me so that we could hang out and she'd be impressed that i shop? or would that be bad because that would be going out of my way to impress her instead of doing whatever the fck i wanted to do?

Also, I was thinking of inviting her to watch the nfl playoffs with me tomorrow at the campus bar, and then bringing her back to my room at halftime to cuddle in my bed and watch the rest of the colts game. sound good?

she hasn't texted back yet. when she does with an answer, i will follow up by asking her more questions about what drinks she likes and whether she prefers animals or people. then i'll tell her to meet me so we can go to a nearby zoo or park, and i'll bring the food and drinks in a bag.

Just call her, I understand you're not confident in your phone game but the only way to get over that is practice. She probably won't even pick up the first time, leave a message saying who it is and say something witty. When she calls or texts you back use a false time constraint to keep the conversation short and then say you'd like to keep talking but you have to do *insert whatever here* you're going to *insert activity for day 2 here* would you like to join me to finish our conversation, it's going to be pretty awesome .
