I know many people have been in this situation, Here's my story. My sister is 12 years of age and not the best socially (hardly ever does anything on the holidays with friends) And it's currently the Holdiays where i am in Australia. I'm 16 by the way.


When i would bring a lady freind over, And she would react weirdly, compared to if it was one of my male friends. And it's really anoying 'cause i want my lady friend to feel comfortable at my house.


So it's kinds hard to do anyhting with the HB, when my sisters in the house as well, knocking on my door asking for stuff, whats for lunch ect. Making noise and so on. And when her room is across from mine too.


She's 12 so i cant really say go for a walk or tell her to go somewhere, Mum get's hell pissed if i try to tell her to go out somewhere, and i dont particular want to tell my mum why, althought i have a great relationship with my mum.


Your thoughts?

Ok your not going to like my simple answer, I dont think but I say, Just explain to your mum why you want your sister out the house, mums are very understanding when it comes to relatonship stuff.

The second i read this, my mum walked in and i chatted to her. I just needed that push, so thanks alot.


But people please add stuff to this.

I'm curious, what did your mother say?

She was very understandable. Even laughed when i said my "lady friends" But yeah she was really cool about it, and i just have to tell her if i really want the house free, and she would take my sister out.



Still not ideal, but it will have to do.
