So I went to a club the other night, 2 nights before Christmas, and one girl there really caught my attention, we spent a few hours together, we played a game of pool, danced, and talked for a while. At one point she passingly mentioned her boyfriend, and I just pretended she didn't mention it till later. I figured I should wait a few days more than normal b/c Christmas was in the way. Anyway, yesterday, I called, no answer, so I left it alone for a day. Today, I call, she doesn't pickup so I decide to send her a text to try to get a response.

This is the text I sent:
"Hey, [buddy's name] and I are gonna hit the gym, and then maybe go see a movie and I thought I'd invite you to join us, or if not see if you wanted to hang out afterwards."

Response from her:
"Hey. Aaron is actually taking me to a movie tonight. I'm sorry! Thank you though!" (Aaron being her bf)

I sent a text back saying: "Alrighty, well have fun we'll have to hang out later."

and the last text I got from her was "Yeah you too."

So where do I go from here? She could genuinely have plans, when and how should I attempt again? Should I text back again today and just try to keep a conversation going or give up? I don't really care if it works out or if I fall into LJBF's either way I'd be ok w/ it at this point.

I'd say it's time to find another girl, she has a boyfriend, so don't be that annoying dude.

If I eliminated all the girls that had boyfriends, I'd be significantly limiting my options... up until a few months ago, I'd have agree'd, but I've realized not everyone plays by those rules and I can either be the afc losing the girl, or I can learn the methods and use them regardless of them having boyfriends, because they sure as hell don't play by those rules. Now if they're engaged or married, that's another story, I'll respect that.

I am just curious but what is the difference to you when a girl is engaged/married compared to being in a committed relationship? But unless you live in a place where guys out number girls greatly, I find it hard to believe that there are a limited number of single girls in your area. As far as the girl in your op goes, stop calling her. You need to learn when to cut your loses. As it is one thing to be persistent its another to be needy. Your actions are making you look needy. She made it clear she has a boyfriend and is making it clear she will NOT go out with you.

I am not fan of boyfriend destroys, but from what I have read about them is if the girl does not go out with you after you closed, it is best to find some other girl to steal. Because if you keep on trying to steal the girl away she is going to loose interest. But how is it AFC to loose the girl? Do you think every alpha male always gets the girl?
