Today I was out on a date and somehow worked standing on one foot into the conversation. I challenged her to a standing on one foot competition. At this point it was 32 degrees F out, so we both wanted to be somewhere warmer, but I thought to myself that this might work pretty well for a kiss close if you have decent balance.

Think about it, there's a natural awkward silence, you get to stare into her eyes and you can lean in with a built in excuse if she pulls away.
