So, I hooked up with a girl on Wednesday. A hottie. She brought up her ex-boyfriend and whatnot of three years and that she broke up with him to fuck around. Worked around it, we hooked up, made a possible date for Saturday, that rolls around and I get nothing. So, we reschedule sunday. This is the conversation we had when i got her first message.

HB: Hey there... Still at home thinking I'm gonna crash here. Hope you had a good weekend.
Profi: was a pretty good one. sorry to hear you wont be gracing us with your presence. raincheck for later in the week?
Profi: Hey, want to view a meteor shower with me tomorrow night?
HB: Hey there you... Well, here's the thing... I met up with my ex this weekend and I think we may be getting back together, and I don't think he would be happy about me hanging out with you even though I did enjoy myself.
Profi: so you cant hang out with boys now? tell him to come along.
HB:Hahaha. He would be okay with it, but I dont want him to get the wrong idea.
Profi: Or you dont trust yourself around me

Profi: well thats the only concievable reason you wouldnt want to hang out with me. despite a whole "maybe" relationship with ur ex.

Profi: more confident. you can rell me if im totally wrong, been awhile since i was knocked down a few pegs. but from what i remember, you quite liked it.
HB: Dont flatter yourself mr. Profi
Profi: lol. but hey, this friendship we have is gonna be hard if you cant seperate the sexual side and just hang out and be cool.
HB: Fine. Its seperated then. We are strictly friends... no hanging out alone together though.

Profi: Sad story. just as we really started to be good friends.

HB: Regardless, friends is fine.
Profi: Good. so being friends, we should hang out. get to know one another. ill be sure not to shower so you can resist yourself. but if a "maybe" relationship with you ex is getting in the way, then we probably shouldnt be friends in the first place. we'd never hang out it it was a real one.
HB: So you are saying we shouldn't be friends because I'm in a relationship?
Profi: nope. im saying that if just the possibility of rekindling your old one is going to keep you from hanging out w/me, then if its rekindled, id never see you anyway.
HB: Why would that be?
Profi: Cause you wouldnt want to for fear of sending the wrong message to him. you said you had to turn me down for getting together because you 'might' be getting back. why would that change if you did get together?
HB: Yeah, I guess thats accurate. What would change is complicated.
Profi: well, all i know is you had a good time with me, i had a good time with you. why should that stop. i dont want you to think your irresistable.
HB: What is that supposed to mean?
Profi: i can hang out with a girl that has a boy and not hook up with her. i do it all the time. but if we have fun, why stop hanging out. im gonna be here til 2011 (uni)

HB: Trust me, you wouldnt be able to. I have a really great guy.
Profi: so... what are you worried about that you cant hang out with me unless we're surrounded by people?
HB: Its not worried... Its like i said... I wouldn't hang out with any guy alone while in a relationship... [dude] woulnt mind, but I would. It doesnt matter who it is.
Profi: fair enough. are you in that relationship now? cause if you are, it is your obligation to introduce me to your hot friends.
HB: I am partially in it... we arent technically together, and yes i can introduce you to hot friends.
