*I get off work, and agree to pick this girl up. What she looks like and how she acts is irrelevant (she's attractive), because this can apply to any girl.

Scenario-

I'm having a fucking ball: grooving to dance music as i drive, talking to her, busting her balls a little, and I'm getting laughs back. But then the laughs stop....:silence on her end:... and I'm still going, untill I run out of steam (due to the fact she isnt compliant), to which i bust her again, laugh, repeat

I HATE seeing people having a bad time, so I keep joking around with her, kino-ing, etc, but she just seems to tolerate it, vs. playing back, which is strange considering it was her idea to go out. I dont feel like im in the friend zone, Im having fun, and generally, she's a fun person too. Why the personality shift?

There could be one of two things.

First, she could be bipolar. Though luck!

Second, which might be more likely... you probably busted her balls a little too much that she just lost interest. There is something called as too much negging. I didn't think that was possible, but i guess it has happened once in a while when the girl can't come up with any comebacks to your negs and just shuts up! I usually just start kino and be a little nice, and just start with random inquiry questions... or her opinions on stuff. Remember, if we treat every girl the same, it won't work all the time.

Next time there is silence, go with it. See if she initiates the convo again. Major IOI!

I agree with the last post, next time just go with the silence, but don't make it awkward. Last time I did this in one of my girl's car and she kept sneaking looks at me to see what I was thinking/doing... IOI's If she doesnt give you IOI's, you can try more material, and if that doesn't work, stick her in the freezer.
