Ok I met this HB 7/8 last Saturday night and got her number (she took mine down too) and also k-closed her. She gave me her full name so I could add her on facebook as well.

I text her the next day, and she replied a couple of hours after. I replied to her text a couple of hours after her initial response and she didnt reply for the rest of the day. The day after, I messaged her on facebook in which again she replied but a couple of hours after my message and then i replied the next day and then again she replied hours after and then i replied and have heard nothing since.

I dont have the full text conversation because I delete my sent items, but I do have the message she sent in response below (word for word):

Me
"Hey did you get back ok" (or something along those lines)

Her
Hey babe we got back ok! Had a really good nite what about u?

Me
(Something along the lines of) Yeah we had a really good time etc etc tec and asked her if she goes out to that club often...

Yeah that should be good as its bank holiday weekend at the end of the month!we are probably gonna go nottinghill carnival on the monday. Have you ever been to it before? Yeah work was good, still have a few bits to do though such as plough through emails etc. So what do you do sweetness?

Hey early bird! I went 2 the carnival a few years back it was wkd! I work at specsavers as a lab tech, all i do is make glasses its ok, but the people i work with r great so the job seems better than what it is! So do u work in <insert place>! X

Yeah I work on the outskirts of <insert place> so not too far from where I live. The company I work for is an ICT organisation called <insert company>, in the function which provides a service to an investment bank called <insert company>. I normally get up early to go gym before getting ready for work at 9.So do you work in <insert place>? I had an eye test at specsavers earlier this year and was suppose to go back and get glasses but keep prolonging it!


What should I do next?

By the way her facebook status is "single" so I dont think she has a boyfriend but I have noticed that she probably has a kid (she has dozens of pictures of a young toddler and from the looks of things its not a nephew or anything its likely to be her son)

First, don't worry about the kid. That's a problem for another time. And if she has got a bf, either she wouldn't have given you her number in the first place, or she finds you more attractive.

I would say you are being way too eager dude! Texting the next day is fine as long as you don't come off as too eager.

Secondly, you need her to come to you. Give her the gift of missing you. As soon as she didn't write back, you messaged her the next day. You have met her once, she doesn't want you turning into a stalker. She wants to know that you have other things going on in your life. You want her to have the mindset that if she does become your GF, she will become a part of your life, not your life. Hope that makes sense.

Thirdly, you need to move the convo along. You're asking her to take the lead. However subconciously. Step up. She wants you to take the lead. So take the lead. Stop talking about needing glasses, all that stuff. The goal of text game should be to build 1) attraction and 2) comfort. It's not doing either. Use your messages to brighten her day. Make her look forward to getting a message from YOU and not some other guy.

You're communicating on a rational level. You need to communicate on an emotional level.

I would suggest you start another fun flirty convo. State something random about your day "I just saw a guy walk into a lampost, so funny", and then ask her something "what's your favourite flavour of ice cream?"

Incidentally, you are not interested in her favourite ice cream flavour. And don't tell her yours, even though she asks. Just ignore, and ask whether she likes red wine or white. Ask if she likes picnics? Then say "You provide the park, and I'll provide the ice cream and wine. Now when and where?"

Take a look round this sight. There are examples of text game. Read some, you will get the drift. Others who respond to this will prob tell you to pick up the phone and call her. I'm not convinced by that. Not my style. Just find something you are comfortable with.
