ok so yesterday i was playing soccer with my friends and this girl was playing with us, the one time we ended up running into each other and i knocked her over and her face hit my arm. i felt like a dick and said i was sorry and picked her up and stuff. but anyway i saw her again that nite and she was sayin how her head hurt, i had tylenol on me b/c i had a headache and i ended up givin her one, anyway she didnt talk a lot that nite, and she was kinda giggly. but today i posted on her facebook wall and i was like "hows ur head feelin today" and she just posted back "haha better. thanks." to me i read that as basically "thanks dickhead, now don't talk to me anymore" im a fuckin douchebag and am rediculously hard on myself for no reason, but i'm wondering what you guys think about that post she made back to me?

too hard on yourself bro. ur killing the seed before it even grows. and it's not enough to go on. call the "set" quits when she tells u to fuck off. even if she thinks ur a dick; who cares what she thinks (david x). continue with her... if she means something to u

Tal you're right, I think slyguy IS being too hard on himself. But I don't think I'd take it quite this far:
You lower your value to the entire room by not being able to read the signs and knowing when to eject from a set.
Slyguy you notice how she started with "haha"? Well, I'd say that's a fairly positive indicator that she's not pissed at you. Don't defeat yourself through your own negativity! And she is Thankful as well, so she is considering that you helped her when she was in discomfort. Something that a Leader would do. So ya, don't beat yourself up and focus on positive interaction.
