Been talking to this girl who sits next to me in class. I occasionally crack a joke and she's always laughed at all of them. I have her number, though it was to help her and a few others study for a test. Today I walked out to the parking lot with her and we talked for several minutes, going very well. It ended with her saying something like, "Gimme a call sometime if you're around this weekend. A few of us are going to (random club) on Saturday night if u want."

I am not a nightclub person. I don't like them and I certainly don't function well in them yet; at the very least, it's not the place where she should see me for the first time out of class. I also don't think it's a good idea to go out with her for the first time with a group of her friends, as it will be hard to break in and it seems like a sub-optimal place to get to know her. Hence, I think it's best to ask her to do something else.

The problem I'm having with this girl is determining if I'm in the friend zone or if she's legitimately interested. She's talkative around me, laughs at all my jokes, she even said she'd bring me a pencil for a test and actually remembered to do it. However, I really haven't tried any "game" on her other than my jokes and some "abc" conversation. She seems friendly and clearly open to hanging out with me, but it might just be that -- friends. I really don't know where I stand.

If I invite her to a movie or something, I don't wanna be in a situation where I'm supposed to put my arm around her and she then gives me the really awkward "we're just friends" talk. So how do I find out? Do I just straight up ask her "is this a date?" Do I just go for it and see how she responds, risking the potential awkward convo? Is there anything else I can do?

haha you dont have to win a girl over in clubs, just go through this stuff like you would any girl.

Be fun, outgoing, and don't give a flyin fck about being embarassed, use techniques.. push pull negs c&f.. go on should work out fine for you.

Remember the only mistake you really can make is not doing anything, and sitting here in front of your computer wondering wtf you should do instead of doing it.
