Pay for dinner on day 2?

Should the guy be paying for dinner on day 2s? Does this set too much of a precedent? If not, how should I avoid not having to pay for her (do I just say "we should split the bill" or is there a better way)? At what point should a guy start paying for her dinners (if not day 2)?

So many questions in so few words. :lol: My rule is if I ask the girl out I pay for dinner, no matter if its day 1 or day 400. But I am semi old school. If you are young and don't have enough money to pay for you and the girl either go dutch or be upfront before you eat that you want to split the bill with her. As far as when the guy should start paying for me since I am semi old school I pay from day 1 unless she is the one that asked me out.

I agree, if I do the asking I do the paying, but not everyone does it this way. Just make sure it is understood what the expectation is upfront. It can make for an awkward situation when the bill comes and you are both expecting the other to pay all or part of it.
