| Ok, so my approaches are getting better. My early game and kino has improved immensely. I'm number-closing better than I would've imagined months ago. Trouble lies hereafter.
In this particular situation, I met this girl at a cookout. Our families are both friends with the hosts, in fact her parents were there. So #-closing seemed like the most appropriate thing to do.
When I got the number, I mentioned something about hiking because she said she likes to run and hike (and so do I). On the phone, I started off mentioning ping pong, which we played at the cookout. So the day 2 sort of transitioned from hiking to ping pong IF there's a public ping pong place around. If not, the option remains to do something else (she mentioned watching a movie, ACK!) The only thing that's for sure thus far is that we're getting together Sunday evening, the only day I'm free this week.
Afterward, a friend of mine highlighted some trouble spots:
11:58pm Ti
so you're getting together, but you're not sure what you're doing
11:58pm Royalty
yeah, no specific time yet either
-----------------------------------------
12:00am Ti
where ARE you meeting her?
12:00am Royalty
also not decided yet
12:00am Ti
all this hand wrangling is bad - it makes it sound like you can't decide
...and gave some advice:
12:12am Royalty
so we're already supposed to meet sunday...
I think it would be even more indecisive to change the day
12:13am Ti
if you figure out a plan
you can call and say, "hey sorry i forgot i had X going on that night, lets do monday instead"
and if she is interested (which sounds likes she is) then she'll say yes
Thing is, there's not much going on Sunday. Monday might offer better opportunities. Yeah, I kind of messed up by not having a plan from the start. But I'm interested on your opinions on where to go from here... and on first phone calls in general.
She seems kind of shy/inexperienced, meaning that she may be more "forgiving" than a 10 with a cocky attitude. So as of now, I'm not giving up. _________________ Live Your Truth.
