I am new to this game and havent read any books on the the subject. But I have been floating around past couple days reading this forum.

I have come up with this routine (not entirely original…) to try to get this girl who works in a female clothing store:

Walk in, look around etc etc look casual with confused face etc. Get close to girl, then over shoulder say

ME: excuse me *she looks* do me a favour, ive got a problem.
GIRL: ok blah blah
ME: I got a sister, shes 12 years old and to cut a long story short, shes always winging bout her clothes, so I want to buy her a little something to make her happy. What should I get her?
GIRL: what does she wear etc etc
ME: Just jeans really, she winges bout all her tops. So im looking to buy a top, what would you suggest?
GIRL: blah blah buy this or that blah blah
ME: I like that. You got good taste, Im fatboy (handshake routine)
GIRL: Im GIRL blah blah

How do I then get out fast and get her number? Or should I avoid the handshake routine? How do I get this girls number?

Hi, i think it's a bit early to ask for her phone number, she may had given it to you, but that would have been all. I think after you open you should keep demostraiting higher value, telling other stories, etc. If you can't you can phone close, try to DHV through phone and maybe set a day2. But keep opening and going further with more girls.

ok thanks for the reply mate, I am new to this whole thing. I will find some ways to DHV and save this girl for later. for now I will practise on as many girls as I can make myself, still havent opened anybody yet lol. thanks for the help

remember that dhv is good but it isn't the sh1t. She needs to make an effort too or she's going to be asking herself "why is this guy asking me for my number I don't even know him very well." When she puts effort into it she will feel invested in the interaction and be more willing to continue it. Ask her....so what's you're story. When she says uhm "i don't know " be prepared to tell her yours "I'm a student..I'm into old school rap and needlepoint (just kidding)" this is essentially your DHV but it has an expectation attached where after you say your story you can say ".so what about you?" now you are having a converstation of substance. NOW you can get the digits but it would be best if you did it in the context of a second meeting.

Cutter: It's cool that you are into reggae. I heard there is a place on main street that is supposed to have great old CDs, we should go!

HB: yeah that sounds great!

after several minutes you can whip out the close.

Cutter: (whips out his cell phone): so give me your number and I'll call you and we can go look at the reggae cds.

The key is to not blink look at her expectantly and don't move. She will give it to you because you've already established what you want to do on Cutter
