Yah that was much smoother then the first conversation u had.
I encounterd that sort of line just yesterday, first she complained a bit that she was tired, then she complained about her hectic job.
One pattern that Ive discovered while texting, or talking in general on phone and so on, is that if they feel pitty for themself, u either smoothly switch the subject, or u neg her for best results.
I think I would have made fun of her a bit for feeling sorry for herself. Aw poor thingy, Its a harsh world out there

and then switch the subject. (she should always be happy after having a conversation with you, thus u can never agree that its ok for her to feel sad over little things.)
Second time they whine I usually call them, since then they often loose track of that negative thought.
Btw dont delete nr just like that, this girl i texted and talked to yesterday, was prolly 2 weeks since I spoke to her. If you just text correctly then u can repair almost any dmg u've done. (Got a date with her on thursday now

)
Edit: dont think u should mention the "u o me" in a text. take her on a date somewhere and then smoothly point it out. that way u can have her cook for you or something similar on the next date. (U start the date at the finish line

)
Thoughts ?
