Hey guys need your help on the follwing situation:
Although being perfectly comfortable on night time sarging I am still working hard on everyday openers.
About a week I have seen and observed (of course not obvious) a HB 10 at the library. Classic setting - she got her head in the book all day and with the classic european chick expression on her face: If I look as arrogant as possible no one will address me.
Well I did and it went as follows:
Me: Hey - I guess I owe you an excuse - suppose i have been staring at your direction to obviously
She: (smiles - but not in a IOI way) - I did not notice
Me: Well I guess now I did dig my own grave... hehe (big smile). But it's good to see that you are able to smile.
She: Well you know I am focused on learning
Me: guess it took me some courage to address you as your face says - hey dont address me!! (said in a relaxed cocky way)
she: laughs
her phone rings - she excusses herself and takes it. later I leave and she says goodbye.
Personally I think it was a bad opener as I did give her a clear sign of my interested and did not DHV . But it was the best I came to think of.
But at least there is a connection now. Although the fact that she responded to the phone call shows she did not respond to my approach. Do you guys have any good idea to save this one??? (no - no it is not one-itis
its just a challenge
As I will certainly see her again the next couple of days.
