Last saturday I went out with some of my buddies and met two HBs that my buddy and I ended up hanging out with. The girl I talked to initially gave me a fake name, but quickly gave me her real name as soon as she realized she actually wanted to talk to me. We were both a bit drunk so I dont remember everything. But what I do remember is that after exchanging number she made sure i put my full name in, which I thought signaled she was seriously interested. At one point, her friend tried to get her to take off for the night, but she gave her this look that said "I'm not ready to leave yet" so they ended up staying and hanging out till the club was shutting down. I bought her a drink at the bar at one point and kino'ed her by grabbing her hand and leading her through the crowd. As we were leaving the bar, kiss closed; although she was a bit concerned that her friend would see us. Went to grab a bite to eat afterwards, I may have fucked up here a little bit as the conversation turned to politics and I was too drunk to realize it got too serious. But she said a couple time that I should take her out on a real date. Dropped her off at home and kissed her goodnight.

Monday, I text her something straightforward like "Had a blast on Saturday HB, lets do something awesome sometime. - JohnGalt PS - you better have found a worthy recipient of my leftovers (inside joke)." I never got a response to this, which I thought was really weird since I picked up so many signals from her on Saturday. Maybe because we were both fairly drunk or maybe because she is about 28 and I am only 24? Wanted to ask you guys your thoughts on the situation and what would be a good way to follow-up? I was thinking just calling her to do something this weekend.

You could have full closed her that night. You extracted to a comfort building place (the dinner) and dropped her home. You could of just made a fake excuse to come in and F Close her. All the signals and logistics were good.

You're probably right about that. Unfortunately her friend was with us and I was confident that I could close easily the next time out. But maybe it isnt as easy as I thought, any advice as how to proceed?
