| Ok, so im going to write a quick report of a number close and then i just have a few questions about how to moe this forward and make a date out of it....
I work in a cell phone kiosk in the mall, but yesterday, my boss sent me to go work at a kiosk in a different mall for the day. At the kiosk right next to mine, there was a really cute indian grl working there. I no the guy tht owns that kiosk and i knew that he has his sister run the kiosk sometimes, but i had never met her until that day. Ill call the guy that owns the kiosk, Rob and his sister (the really cute indian girl) Vai.
So, for the first hour of the day, i was selling phones and didnt say anything to Vai, who was working about 10ft away at the kiosk right next to me. But, when i got some down time, i looked over at her and said "does Rob pay you?" That was the first thing i said to her.
Vai: "No he doesnt pay me like per hour or anything, he just pays my bills and stuff"
Me: "oh really, ha, u should make him pay u"
we shot the breeze abt normal stuff in the mall, blah blah
Me: "this mall is soo chill, theres barley any customers, but for SOME reason YOU guys ALWAYS seem to have people stopping by all day and buying stuff"
Vai: "yeah, maybe its cuz im pretty"
Me: "I might have to fight u and take ur customers away" (i said this with a smirk)
Vai: She said something, i dont even remember
Me: "Yeah, ill pick you up and throw u in a trash can and run away with all ur customers"
Vai: (she laughed) "ha, yea, ill be stuck in the trash can, like 'hey let me out!'"
we talked for a minute about Rob and the kiosk and stuff, then a customer came to my kiosk, so i had to go help my customer.
A little while later, when i had no customers and she had no customers, i took a crumpled up peice of paper and threw it at her. She smiled, picked it up and threw it back at me.
Me: "Hey, ur not allowed to throw stuff at me"
Vai: "U threw it at me first!"
Me: "Yea but i have special priveledges"
Vai: "Oh yea, of course"
Me: (changing the subject) "Hey, do ur guy customers just stand there and hit on u all day?"
Vai: "Yeah, some of them, but i just try to sell them stuff, why?'
Me: "Cuz i noticed guys doing it. And also, cuz my female customers just stand there and flirt with me...but most of them are like 16/17."
By the way, obviously this is supposed to be like a DHV, BUT the reason i added on the last part about most of the girls being 16 is so that i didnt seem like i was trying to brag and it actually kinda seemed modest, eventhough im saying grls basically flirt with me all day.
Also, keep in mind, this whole conversation is said pretty much with smirks on face here and there and with a fair amount of excitement. Also, when i would run of things to say or the convo went silent for a split second, i would bust out singing Solja Boy. Self-amusement is a good thing.
I went back to my kiosk and ended up stopping a different girl as she was walking by in the mall and getting her number. Im PRETTY SURE Vai saw this, which I guess is good. Ill write about that number in my next report.
Anyway, me and Vai started our convo back up again. I dont remember exactly how or why, but she walked over to my kiosk.
Me: "you matched ur green eye shadow with ur green shirt. amazing. ..ur soooo dorky...its cute tho"
SIDENOTE: big moment for me. i dont ever go direct like tht usually, but im starting to do that more often during the day. If u can be congruent and solid confident, direct is the SH***T!!
Vai: "Haa, thats good tho that i match, isnt it?"
Me: "Yeah, like i usually have pink shoelaces to match my pink tie and sometimes i switch it up and have purple shoelaces to match my purple tie" (I was wearing a pink tie at the time, by the way)
Vai: "Ur cute"
Me: "thanks"
Our convo continued for a little longer. i dont even remember exactly what we said. I wish i could remember more, but i dont really use routines, so most of it is in the moment.
Anyway, as the mall started to close, she packed all her stuff and then began to walk towards the mall exit. As she walked away,she waived to me and said bye. I waived her over, so she turned and walk towards my kiosk. Before i could even go for the number, she pulled out a bunch of easter stickers and said "Here, ill give u a pink sticker to match ur pink tie." I said, "No give me a purple sticker." So, she ripped off a sticker of a purple Easter egg and put it on my hand.
Me: " Ur cute"
I pulled out my phone and handed it to her
Me: "Here, put ur number in my phone"
She took my phone and put her number in
Me: "How exactly do u pronounce ur name??" (her name is some Indian name that starts with a V)
She told me how to pronounce it a few times and i was like "Ill just call you Vai" She said "no thats not my name, my names not THAT hard to pronounce"
Afer she said that, i felt like an ass for not respecting her culture or whtever. We talked for a sec about how they keep moving me to different malls and if i would be back at this mall again. then she left
I wanted to get her used to seeing txts from me as soon as possible, so like 15 min after she left, i sent a txt:
The rest of this was all in text:
Me: Ha, I just thought of the best nickname for u
Vai: N what's that.....it better b something nice n kute lol
Me: it's not cute or nice
Vai: Then what is it??
at this point i kept getting distracted and forgot to text her back.
The next day (today), i texted her in the afternoon:
Me: Oh whoops, i got distracted last night, I never told u ur nickname
Vai: So wat is it??
Me: Im gonna call u Little Bon Bon
Vai: Lmao..y would u call me that?
Me: Cuz thats ur nickname, obvs
She never responded to that text
This girl is reaaly cute, how can i reinitiate the convo via text?? what should i say?? how long should i wait?? and how do i get her on a date?? I feel like i didnt run enough comfort in person. That whole day, we just had quick spurts of a few minutes where we would talk and then go back to work.
