friend had a house party tonight and there were some girls outside of our normal social circle(hb7 and hb8) there. long story short, we were starting off the night and had to go get some beer/coffee/whatever. and one of the other girls there needed to get her stuff for hot tubbing.

me to party host: hey i'm just gonna go grab a 6 pack. *turning to hb7#1*
me: let's go pick up your stuff for hot tubbing (she had been complaining about forgetting her stuff)
hb7:yeah okay.
me to hb7#2andhb8: want anything while im out? now's your chance.
hb7#2: yeah do you have room for all of us?
me: yeah sure.
so we drove around a bit, and as the girl that forgot her stuff is at her apartment i'm talking with hb7#2 and hb8 dhv'd a bit and number closed hb8. says she wants to hang out again soon.

later on in the night once we're all in the hot tub, one of my friends i was there with totally steals the game with really lame conversation about university. hb8 moves to him and really doesn't say much to me for the rest of the night. Any ideas on recovery via phone game? im RAFC still so any input would be much appreciated.

As for the number close, generally i like to build some comfort before i get her number, so she feels comfortable later when i txt/call her. Getting her number is good, shows what you want. I would have waited a bit longer though, since you were already going to be with her all night.

Cool thanks man. I actually have that phone game post saved on favorites. I played it out a bit via text game today and found out she just went through a harsh break up with her boyfriend of the last 3 years. So I got blown out immediately. I didn't even show much interest just asked if she wanted to go for a drive with some friends of mine. Got a text back that just said: "Sorry, I'm not interested. I'm not into dating or relationships right now"

to which i replied: Well that wasn't really my question. I was just asking if you wanted to hang out. If not thats cool, I'm glad we met.

But off topic. I had a, I guess you could say a former PUA(married now), tell me that the girls where I live are a different breed. Meaning they're unbelievably flaky. He grew up in Hawaii and Pheonix AZ area so he's had experience outside of where i'm living. I don't really know how to deal well with flakes at all. And he's way way way to busy to wing for me. And seeing as I am RAFC still, I have trouble building rapport. Especially with the girls around here.
