The following is a variation on one of Mystery's tactics:

As an AFC, the most awkward moment while on a date for me has always been how to get the proverbial "goodnight kiss". My fear of it is officially gone. With your help and a little of my own ingenuity I have solved the riddle of the sphinx.

1. Give her hug.
2. Point to left cheek in CF manner motioning for her to kiss it.
3. Repeat with other cheek.
4. Point to lips and go in for it before she has a chance to think about it.

I have done this twice this week and it almost seems too easy to be real! How did the goodnight kiss ever intimidate me as bad as it did?

One more thing: Both times I did this I got the distinct impression that the girl thought this was mad smooth and sexy. A little unnerving considering I'm not used to girls thinking I'm either "mad smooth" or "sexy". I believe that most women don't just want romance. They want to BE romanced by a guy who makes them feel that when they are with him, life takes on an almost cinematic quality. I feel like if done with confidence and finesse, this tactic helps to achieve this objective Thank you guys so much!

Don't go for an end of the night kiss. You have 1,001 moments before then to entirely make out with a girl, and she will always appreciate a spontaneous kiss over an expected one. You want to close your nights with her panties around your ankles, not a kiss.
