Can you guys give me some links to some amazing text message threads? I don't know about you guys but lately when i'm goin to text a girl and i'm the one messaging her first I feel like I am beeing needy or something? I really hate the whole text message thing talkin on the phone is way better for me but sometimes its necessary, I just really suck at it.

Situation i'm in right now met a girl a couple nights ago had a really good time and ended up sleepin beside her, but she didn't want to do anything because her friend really liked me but asked me to hang out over the break. I got about a million IOI's and I know she is down haha but don't want to fuck it up texting her like I usually do. Any advice guys?

golden rule.

DO NOT use someone else's material. use the same words and same way of talking you used when you were with her.

and use smileys.

they make her think of smiling, which makes her feel good, which makes her want you.


did you flirt with her when you were with her? did you tease her? did you do anything that she smiled at? THAT is what you text about.

i know exactly what you mean about preferring to talk instead of text. i fought it for a long time, but in the end i realized that pua's are cutting edge so you have to keep with the times. practice, practice practice. now im pretty comfortable continuing game via text.

now if you're like me, you know old habits die hard. i still enjoy a good old fashioned convo on the phone so what i'll do is start the convo via text and hook with this: she'll go and you say wait FOUR minutes, and then call her. you won't believe how fast she'll pick up that call!

haha nermob I like it, good way to make it less awkward calling her. Unfortunately I did what I always do and did not text her while I was sober because I wanted to wait for her to do it first, and then I end up drunk texting her for half the night and waking up and not remembering half the stuff I texted to her. I gotta start leaving my cell phone at home when I go to parties...

Anyways I got lucky this time and read in the morning that i'm going to her house after I am back from my vacation in a few days.

Also for you guys out there who are struggling like me with text game, watch out with the canned ones on this site and others. Yeah they seem funny but most of the time the girls will just be like wtf? Like sean said, I think the times I have had the most success is when I just talk to her and be natural.... as natural as you can be with texting at least.

what i always wonder is how long to wait before you reply to each text. im a fast texter so i can respond in seconds to a text, but i dont like doing it b/c i feel like im being too needy. im thinking 3 minutes or so, just to keep her wanting.

anybody have a golden rule for this that they use?

i would avoid drunk texting at all costs. ie sent some dumb shit to people too many times. its always a good idea to use smilies, and if you want to add spice to the conversation, just reply, "OK" to one of her texts, she'll respond asking questions, but wait it out. it drives them crazy.

i usually try to match her response time. if she responds quick, i respond quick.

fair enough, im going to text open this HB7/8 i met downtown on saturday today. i think i'm just gonna text her "Hey this is Kate, right?"

i expect her to ask who it is, and im just gonna say, "AJ, i met you downtown saturday " and take it from there. she was all about me in the bar, im gonna try to setup a date for tomorrow, and i plan to use The Cube when i meet up with her. she seemed mildly sober too, so i think it should all work out, I'm gonna meet her at a book store in a smart part of town.

any advice?

im no expert but i wouldnt open like that. just assume that you got the number right and it IS kate, which you both know it is, and start off with something stronger like: well thats what i would do anyway.

If you gave her a nickname and revealed it already AND she smiled or enjoyed it, use the nickname when you txt. Bring back that good state

i never used to use them, and then started using them all the time, and it made a HUGE difference in getting day 2's.

Basically the best way to start it off is to bring back a memory that made her smile.

Something you said maybe when sleeping next to each other that one night?
Maybe you fell out the bed or something...i dunno, but your gunna want to get her smiling straight away.

this will get her thinking about what a great time you had that night and also get her interested straight away...with a quick response, means you can leave YOUR response a bit longer and make her want to carry on the conversation.

hey guys,

I've found if your having a bit of a text conversation, if your just at home not doing much else, take the opportunity and do something exciting. Look up a riddle on the internet and send it to her without even saying "what do you think of this", just a blank riddle or joke and you'll get her interested, laughing and thinking your interesting, works a charm for me. She might even share it with her girl friends she's with.
Just a quick idea!
