New to the forum, what f'n great resource! Wondering if you guys could parlay a little advice for a current situation I've got going on...

I took this HB8 out on a date about a month and a half ago and it went ok, but we didn't really connect...after trying to get in touch with her a week later and being given the "busy" excuse, I said fuck it, and didn't try again. A few days ago, I got a text from her late one night...something meaningless about a movie she was watching, obviously to just check if I was still around and interested. We shot a few humorous texts back and forth, I negged her a little bit, but as soon as I suggested getting together, I got the busy excuse again. We've still been in touch, here's the latest exchange:

Me: Hey, working hard or hardly working? I'm sick of talking to little kids all day [I'm a music teacher], tell me something interesting.

Her: Interesting, hmm...I'm smoking a hookah?


Any advice on where to take it from here to lead this in a more progressive direction? My ideal situation would be somehow getting her to ask ME if I want to do something (cause I've asked her too many times I think)

Her: haha no ive been doing blah blah blah
you: sounds boring, If you would hang with me youd see what it means to live life to the fullest.
