How to overcome LMR in a car??

so i learned today that it's much harder to s-close in a car than it is in the bedroom. my HB's LMR was so strong that everything i said didnt work...
how do you s-close in a car (overcoming LMR in a car)?
she said things like "it's wierd to do it in a car" and "people might come"
i got to fingering and such but she was hesitant to go further :(
