Let's say you're in 2-set (or whatever number) with a guy & a girl - they're not in a relationship. We know guys always need to be respected, you amog him only if he's giving you trouble - if not, you befriend him. As long as the guy feels like he's getting respect, you can do what you want with the girl. So you've befriended the guy, now comes the time to #-close the girl. If you only take her number, and not his, is that wrong? Is it wrong to her - will she feel disrespectful to the guy she's with? Will the guy feel disrespected? I know Style believes you should take the guys number, and I agree, but am I the only one who feels like it would be uncomfortable asking the guy for his number. Obviously you don't have to call him.

Edit: The more I think about it, yeah, it's something you should do. Even if you do feel fake doing it, like it's a formality & you never intend to call him, it's a matter of respecting the guy & the girl. Still very curious about your opinions on this...

It all depends on the situation. At parties I don't really do "pick ups" cause I tend to see the same people at most of the parties, but at clubs I get a number as quick as possible. If you have been talking to her for a long time, she'd feel like you were not interested in her sexually if you asked for the guy's number too but if you were doing it as a quick pick up, then yeah of course respect the guy and ask for his number too. That's how I see it

no i wouldn't unless you become friends with the guy other than that don't bother with it. i ask numbers from a girl while she hangin with a guy by her and i ingore him completely but i do affirm that hes there and he knows what i want (the girl) he either can step up and be an ass or let her do what she wants.

Why would you get the guys phone number? Would you want her to get the impression that you want to be friends with her as well?

Should this really be an issue? I'm a bit surprised that would even be considered a choice. c'mon guys.
