I've started using this too DHV - show confidence that you'll call her when most AFCs will just text. I find its easier to pick up on IOIs from a call and makes things more personal - but if i feel i don't have enough confort i stick to texting.
So i recently online sarged a girl from my course at uni, had her number within a couple of days using the stalker/its not safe to poke lines to open. Another couple of days and she was practically begging me to go for a drink with her - she even offered to pay. Result!
So i went for a drink - this turned into a night long bar crawl, K-close and stayed over at hers.
Its been a few days since then and she's been texting me - but i was findind it increasingly difficult to keep things going so i called her to arrange day 2.
She told me it was weird that i called instead of text her and that i was the 1st guy who'd done it. So i told her that i found calling pretty normal from living in the USA for a year (slight exaggeration there - it was like 2 months) - she loved it - well impressed and is now paying when we go ice skating for our Day 2.
Just wondering if anyone else had been called out by girls on why they phoned and how they dealth with it.
