ok so a few weeks ago, we got a new member to our course at uni, an argentinian foreign exchange student, maybe a tiny bit shy, not bitchy, and immediately one of the most beautiful girls at our uni. HB9.5 if not 10. when I first met her I could see pretty much everyone was vainly trying to hit on her, and to be honest I just thought sod it, shes out of my league, I'll just be normal with her and just left it at that.
next thing I know everyone from our course is on a night out and 1 of my girl-mates tells me I have a chance, and to just run with it. so i do, i get a few beers in me, give her some banter (c+f) about how much better our footy team is than theirs (blatantly not true), shield her back when someone barges into her and then spend the best part of an hour kissing in the bar, all my bloke mates hate me and i generally feel like the dogs bollocks.
i see her again the next weekend, and a similar thing, EXCEPT this time i am extremely drunk, she is totally sober having had headaches all day, and only come out after persuasion from me + friends. Again I kiss her, but not as naturally. i walk her to the taxi and on the way break up a fight between 6 gobby students, i just love doing that kind of thing when i'm pissed, and it only occured to me afterwards that it probably looked really smooth. she was impressed with this we kissed again, and i said lets meet up tomorrow.
the next day she cancels as she is having more headaches. 2 days later i bump into her briefly at uni, am not particularily smooth, and don't pick up great vibes.
to be honest i'm extremely stoked to have got where i have, but she is only here for 3 more weeks, so i need the balance between not pushing her away and not letting it go, I definately didn't help myself getting wasted last time i saw her.
so do i go back to playing it cool and sober, just bump into her on a night out next weekend and try to restart it? or text her to try sort out a date? i only have 3 weeks! i have help tho, cos my female mates have all taken interest in this and are kind of feeding me info ha ha. i think writing this out is also just me trying to get my head around whats going on, new to this, my game is more luck than judgement, input greatly valued!
