So I was walking around my neighborhood and I ran into this girl I'd seen a couple of times before. She was with her daughter and she called me over because her daughter spoke English. So I talked to her daughter a little in English and then kept chatting with the mother. She asked me my situation and I told her I was seperated from my wife, and she immediately kino-escalated on me, assuring me that she was "cariñosa" and a good cook, so I rapported with her awhile and then went home.

She text messaged me setting up a date for yesterday (Sunday) and we met on Atocongo bridge to hang out. We walked around the neighborhood and everything was cool. The only weird thing was that she never turned to face me - always facing away and giving me lots of negative body language. Meanwhile she asked me what I was like in bed, stroked my arm, held my hand, and kissed me. Mixed messages, much? I assume things are going well. She's attracted to white guys, and people who speak English, but apparently the daughter is from a bad previous relationship where the guy was physically abusive.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I've completely changed my mind. She sent me a text message on Monday morning saying "Hello my love" which I thought was a bit overboard, but kind of sweet. I tried going by where she worked on Tuesday and on Wednesday and she wasn't out selling. No problem - I sent her a text message saying I'd missed her, and hoped she was all right.

So today she sent me a text message asking if we could meet on Sunday. I was in a class and my phone was set to vibrate and I didn't feel it. Twenty minutes later I got another text from her saying, "Okay, now you don't want to write me back. Bad, bad, bad." So I wrote her back saying, "Sure, I want to meet you. Sunday's fine." and she wrote me back saying that I was the only one in her heart.

WTF?! I mean, we've had 1 date, 1 kiss, no sex. How can I be the only one in her heart? Seriously I'm starting to think she's in a bad headspace to get into a relationship. Where's the exit?
