Hey all!

I am just starting to get better with the clubs and bars over the last 4 months and the second day opportunities are just starting to come up. I have found that going out to have fun rather than to be on a mission has made a huge difference to my mindset and I think I come across way more relaxed. Anyway...

I met a girl last Saturday at a party who really caught my attention, the first girl in YEARS that I "wanted" as opposed to being an "opportunity." I dropped my game and went a bit AFC I was so taken off guard by her. It didn't seem to matter at the time because she was with me all night and she came looking for me every time we got separated. We spent ages talking and finished the night dancing. I think one of her flat mates was slightly jealous and other girls were asking me to dance as I think the social proof was running high. I thought maybe this would be a special girl where things would just click: she was my perfect type and seemed completely into me and she had a quirky dorky personality which I kinda like. Maybe this girl could be wooed the old fashioned way, you know, with no game. We exchanged numbers earlier in the night, not at the end. I left on a taxi and she left with her friends.

I texted her Sunday night saying that I was recovering from the full on night and (and this is probably where I lost it) asked her if Monday night would be a good time to call her. She said Tuesday would be better, which I thought was odd. But send a brief text: "No probs". On Tuesday just before I was about to call she texted again "Thursday would be better, I am really sick tonight, I have had a really awful day."

At this point it kind of sunk in that she was probably trying to throw me off. I didn't want to play this strung out game, so I just shot the ball back into her court "well call me when you are better." At least this way if she doesn't call I know I have been blown off rather than play this game of waiting for the time to call then being told "not yet."

I am genuinely disappointed because this is a girl I actually liked, she was totally into me on Saturday and is the latest in a string of second day failures...

When do people think I lost this one? Was it on the Saturday text? Should I have just called Sunday night and set up a date?

I have a theory, based on absolutely no scientific evidence at all!! That in the very moments you start to have these thoughts your brain releases a chemical into your blood stream, which coats the surface of your skin in a thick oily sent, only your target (and a few nearby women) can smell! It immediately repulses them, it gives them the knee jerk deja vu reaction to LJBF's you QUICK.

Fortunately, it can be reversed as soon as these thoughts are recognized. It may linger for a short time as your confidence takes over. Don't ever apologize for it, just ignore as if perhaps it was the fat guy nearby that farted!
