If you gaming a girl and your getting all positive IOI;s and then she claims shes seeing someone . . what the hell should you do then?

My situation, went to a party met awsome girl, massive eye contact had my arms around her loads of escalation . . tried to kiss close, it wasn't happening.
Her friend had loudly announced earlier she had a boyfriend and they all fucking love him, to which she went very quiet.
Before we all left she very clearly told me she was sorry, and it was honest, I think she wanted to go back with me.

anyway Iv got her number: she sent me a text saying she had a good time blah blah blah

so I said "Your welcome, it was good fun, hope we get to meet again soon, if so thats private. I respect that your seeing someone so if not thats cool to"

It sounds like a test. If you just ignore it, you will win. If she is really seeing someone, she will pick you in the end anyways. Just play your cards well.

Edit: Seems like you failed the test. Why the fuck will you accept such? Girls dont need a guy, who accepts this kind of behaviour(but you dont have to talk about this, pre-sex/relationship). She was telling you, that you needed to prove, you are the independent, emotional strong guy.
