When I text girls, I put emoticons at the end of EVERY text. One... so she realizes I have some personality. And two... so she can understand the emotion behind the text. Remember, with a text, she can't see your face or hear your voice... so making sure you are sending the right emotion is important. I don't know wtf an x at the end of a text would do besides maybe make her think you can't control your fingers and accidentally hit the button at the end. Start using smileys.
