I have been on these forums reading for some time now and I finally signed up! So I'm glad to be here. Here's what happen:

I met this hot red head a week and a half ago (she's 28.) We hit it off at the bar, we were dancing and talked for a hour so than I number closed. Two days later I made a date for next week a Tuesday to have dinner.

I can tell right from the start she's not much of a texter in the sense that she will answer your question but won't chit chat. But she was at the date and we had what I thought was a ok time. We did have fun but I wouldn't say it was great. I did hold her hand at the end of the night as we walked to my car but I can tell she wasn't 100 % feeling that. When I was driving her home we were having a good time listening to music and she did ask me to let her know when I'm in the area of where we met. I went in for a kiss and she just hugged.

So i texted her that I had a good time and she texted back she did too and thanks. Than the next day I told her I would like to see her again and I would be around next Tuesday and she responded: "Hey! Happy Friday. I'm away for work on Tuesday. Portland, or. thanks for the invite"

Today is Monday I didn't write anything back since than. A part of me thinks I should let it go because she's not that into me but I i'm not sure. Any advice?

You shouldn't have asked her to dinner. Spending money on a woman that you aren't laying is fruitless. Also, keep the chit chat over text to a minimum. You'll have more to talk about when you're together. When she said, "let me know when you're in the area" she meant to reject you nicely. Sorry bro.

Just let it go and move onto the next girls.
