Ok, so I can small talk and routine girls now without much problem but for some reason I can never seem to man up and ask for the number, usually end with me just saying bye or w/e.

My question is what the best way to ask?

Is it as simple as asking "so can i get your number?" and hoping for the best or should I be more direct with something like " k well let me get your number". I feel the first one leave more opportunity for her to say no where as the send one she may almost feel there is no other option.

After a good convo/kino/etc, just whip out your phone to the page where you add a contact, and hand it to her. Position it right in front of her chest (Not so close that your fist goes in her cleavage.) And just say something like "Hey, you seem really chill/cool/interesting, toss me your number"

Honestly, if you say "so, can I get your number?" It sounds little too cliche imo. Just say what comes out naturally, because that is what will come with the most confidence. Sometimes it's easier to just say, "We should hang out sometime, give me your number". Placing it in front of her chest will almost assure you that she will grab the phone. There have been psychological studies that back that up, but idk where to find one for you. Once it's in her hand, she'll just go with it. If she gives you a fake number, than, something else went wrong in the lead-up.
